Great 8’s: This new class introduces students to the art of skating compulsory figures. Each student is given a patch of ice upon which they practice edges and variations of figure 8’s. Compulsories were once the foundation of every major skating competition; teaches strong technique and control of edges, giving skaters a stronger core, balance and coordination. All skating is based on these fundamentals.
