SHINRIN-YOKU “FOREST BATHING”
Saturday, January 12 11am to 12:30pm
For children ages 5 and up. Take a relaxing forest walk in the new year. Shinrin-yoku is a term in Japanese that means "taking in the forest atmosphere" or "forest bathing." We’ll follow cards along our trail that prompt us to participate in an awakening activity like smelling an aromatic plant, touching a textured tree bark or stopping to fill our lungs with fresh forest air. Advance registration and minimum number of participants required; call 973.228.8776. Fee: $10 per child
